Tiffo | Fanbound Books
Tiffo joined Renegade in March of 2021, after having made a few fanbindings and searching to find out who else had this idea of making fic into books. Tiffo has been a member of the Renegade volunteer team since its inception, leading the teams for the Renegade in person biannual retreat, the FFWAD event, and serving on the Bindery moderation team, as well as being a mod for the volunteer server.
Tiffo has been in fandom since a love of the X-Files in the mid 1990s and has enjoyed gathering new fandoms to add to their basket over the last few decades. Tiffo loved having the chance to create with fellows obsessives and build friendship and community through love of similar interests. Because of this they have volunteered with a number of fandom groups and nonprofits in the last decade to help continue the work of building fannish communities, both in person and online.
They are very excited to continue the work they started in 2023 to set up Renegade as a non-profit community resource and help to lay the ground work for many years of Fanbinding fun!
Vice President
Robin | Robin’s Egg Bindery
Long-time Aquarius, first-time antiquarian, Robin joined Renegade in 2021 with an insatiable desire to see her favorite fics fully realized into books. A writer, fanartist, and fandom organizer in her own right previous to Renegade, she began her start in the heyday of the Livejournal-era; joining Renegade felt like the promised return to the roots of her fandom experience.
Robin has spearheaded a number of volunteer efforts, but primarily focuses on events, as she believes they are the lifeblood of the community. She currently serves as a mod for the Renegade Exchange, Binderary, and the Retreat; she also serves as a mod for the California satellite server, and assists in organizing in-person events, including the California Mini-Exchange and meetup.
When she's not crying over Spirk, Sterek, Irondad or any other untold number of fandoms, Robin can be found burst-reblogging on Tumblr dash, gaming with friends, or creating meaningful chaos in the Discord.
Treasurer
Cactus | Cactus River Press
Cactus has been active in Renegade since 2021, and has served as moderator in Renegade California Discord server since its inception in 2022. Her fandom involvement spans almost 30 years, and more recently includes making her first fan bound book in 2021 with the help of Renegade community.
Cactus is dedicated to developing best fiscal practices for Renegade that would ensure its longevity and continued service to the community. Cactus holds an accounting degree and has over 10 years of experience working in financial audit and tax accounting. She previously served as Treasurer for another nonprofit organization, where she played a central role in establishing 501c3 status for a 60 year old organization.
Cactus loves to spend her time reading fanfiction, playing videos games, and hiking.
Secretary
Miri | Serpent’s Nest Press
Miri (Serpent’s Nest Press) has been part of Renegade since 2021, but made her first books many, many moons ago. She's helped run the Tiny Books Bang since its inception, participated in discussions about the Renegade Code of Conduct, modded and presented panels for Binderary, and occasionally drops into the chat with tidbits of advice about cutting HTV and arranging text in Affinity. She loves making and sending author copies, and plans to finally bind some of her own fic soon. Beyond making books, in her free time she enjoys writing, sewing, and spoiling her chickens.
Public Affairs Director
Desmothene | Celestial Sphere Press
Desmothene has been a member of Renegade since February 2021, when she started her bookbinding journey. As part of the Renegade volunteer crew, Des has worked on several projects, including as a discord mod for the main server and for Renegade Asia; participating at HavenCon and moderating Renegade’s first in-person panel event; development of the Renegade Manifesto, the Renegade Code of Conduct, misconduct review board procedures, and the new Renegade Guild bylaws; and serving as team lead for the translations team. She binds under the imprint Celestial Sphere Press and is currently wallowing in the Star Wars prequels fandom. Des first wrote fic in 2010 (and had her mother for her first beta reader), and she has bounced around many fandoms since then, with notable excursions into Temeraire, Log Horizon, Sherlock, Hannibal, and cnovel fandoms prior to Star Wars. No fandom is ever dead to Des!

Aliya| Gilded Fletching Press
Aliya arrived in the Renegade Bindery Discord on day one and has never looked back. From joining the Discord mod team three months in to helming the annual census of the Bindery, she’s been here the whole time! Aliya leads the Historian volunteer team in tracking event stats and archiving data about Renegade Bindery and what we do! Taking a peek at the 4000+ AO3 bookmarks Aliya has carefully tagged with word counts, you’ll find Supernatural, Lucifer, Megamind, Miraculous Ladybug, Leverage, and Doctor Who topping the list, but her taste for good worldbuilding fic means she’s constantly meandering through new fandoms! Depending on the day, you can find Aliya watching linguistics YouTube videos, playing D&D, or making cool spreadsheets.
Community Director
Nim | Morning Star Bindery
Nim joined Renegade on a dark and stormy night in April of 2022. With only a couple binds under her belt, she dove into the community with the zeal of one who did not yet know the importance of grain. As a Renegade volunteer, she has worked to become involved in some of her favorite community events. This includes the Retreat-planning committee as well as the team for the Renegade Loves Fic(writers) event to celebrate Fan Fiction Writer’s Appreciation Day (or FFWAD). Nim has also helped pioneer the Renegade Satellite servers and currently mods in two of them. In her mythical free-time, Nim enjoys petting animals, playing video games, and planning her next read/bind. Fandoms include Harry Potter, The Locked Tomb, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and various others.
